Dr.
Kirby-Madden has been an Associate Veterinarian at the Animal Hospital of Orleans since
November 2018. She took over ownership in June 2021. She earned her undergraduate degree in English from the
University of Vermont in 2004, and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine
in 2014 from The Ohio State University. Her family has lived in Orleans
for more than 40 years and she grew up spending summers at Nauset. Dr.
Kirby-Madden also owns and runs Massachusetts
Veterinary Behavior, focusing on behavioral medicine ranging from
aggression to fear/anxiety to litterbox problems. While she is pursuing
specialty board-certification in behavior, she also greatly enjoys
general medicine and surgery and has a special fondness for senior pets.
She lives with 3 dogs, 3 cats, a husband and a feisty red-headed
toddler in Brewster.

Dr. Bohon owned the Animal Hospital of Orleans from November 1993 until June 2021. She is currently working as an Associate Veterinarian. She graduated from NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991 with internships in oncology, dermatology, and behavior. She, along with her husband, Chip have dogs, cats and Nigerian dwarf goats.

Ashley Stancil, DVM
Dr. Stancil has been an Associate Veterinarian at the Animal Hospital of Orleans since July 2021. She received her BS in Biology from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and her DVM and MS in Entomology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is certified in acupuncture through The Chi Institute. Diabetes and Internal Medicine are her interests. She and her family have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 2 guinea pigs, and 10 chickens. She enjoys swimming, surfing, sailing, skiing and music.

Renee has been with the Animal Hospital of Orleans since 1998. She graduated from Becker College's Veterinary Technician program in 1995. Renee did her internship at The Roger Williams Park Zoo. She is currently working as both a Certified Veterinary Technician and Practice Manager. She lives in Harwich with her( adopted as a senior) lab, "Tucker", 3 mini pigs, "Melvin", "Fern", and "WeeBitz", a Goffin's Cockatoo named "Zinnia", and an unknown number of Koi! In her "spare" time she is an artist, specializing in pyrography and woodcarving.

Diane B., Head Veterinary Technician
Diane has been with the Animal Hospital of Orleans since October 2000. She started as a kennel technician and is currently employed as a veterinary technician. Diane and her family have a coonhound named Ruckus and a few cats romping around the house.

Kristin has been employed as a receptionist with the Animal Hospital of Orleans since September 2002. She graduated from Barnstable High School in 1999 and attended Cape Cod Community College. Kristin and her family have 2 cats, Flapjack and Waffles, and a dog named Bowie! She enjoys photography, drawing, bird-watching, gardening, baking, and spending time with the family.

Joanne has been a member of our healthcare team since 2012 as a pet care technician, She has been managing the kennel since June 2021. She comes to us with over a decade of pet care experience. She graduated from Nauset High School in 1990 and attended Cape Cod Community College. Joanne lives in Yarmouth with her 4 dogs and 2 cats. She enjoys reading, gardening, and sewing.

Brigit, Kennel Pet Care Technician and Veterinary Assistant
Brigit joined our health care team in December of 2020. She is currently attending Southern New Hampshire University. She is currently taking courses in behavior and will be starting puppy training classes in 2022.
She has 2 cats - Special K and Pop Tart and a dog named River and her hobbies include hiking, skating, and gardening.

Robin joined our team in April of 2022. She is NAVTA Certified as a Veterinary Assistant and is 3 years into the Early Childhood program at Cape Cod Tech.
She has a cat named Sox and enjoys hiking, photography, painting/drawing and gardening.

Jeremiah joined our team in May of 2022. Jeremiah comes to us with 17 years of experience working in the veterinary field. He became certified in December 2020. He has a dog named Imp and enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.
Katrina B., Assistant Manager
Katrina just joined our team in November of 2023. Clients may recognize her from the Cape Cod Dog, a store she owned and managed for many years. Katrina and her husband have a standard poodle, Lainey and a domestic short hair cat, Maddie.
She loves to camp and hike and also enjoys reading, photography, and spending time with her niece and nephew.
Corry P., Behavior Assistant
Corry also just joined our team in November of 2023. She is primarily working for Massachusetts Veterinary Behavior as both receptionist and assistant. Corry has a BS in Marine Biology with a minor in Photography and Digital Media from Roger Williams University.
She has two dogs...Standard Poodles named Caper and Riley.
She loves to read, go out into and photograph nature, and digitally draw marine animals and places around the cape.
