Dr Taylor Kirby

Taylor Kirby-Madden, DVM, DACVB

Dr. Kirby-Madden has been an Associate Veterinarian at the Animal Hospital of Orleans since November 2018. She took over ownership in June 2021. She earned her undergraduate degree in English from the University of Vermont in 2004, and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 from The Ohio State University. She became a board-certified veterinary behaviorist in October of 2024 after passing a rigorous two-day board exam and authored both a case report ans a scientific paper published in peer reviewed journals based on her original research . Her family has lived in Orleans for more than 40 years and she grew up spending summers at Nauset. Dr. Kirby-Madden also owns and runs Massachusetts Veterinary Behavior, focusing on behavioral medicine ranging from aggression to fear/anxiety to litterbox problems. While she is pursuing specialty board-certification in behavior, she also greatly enjoys general medicine and surgery and has a special fondness for senior pets. She lives with 3 dogs, 3 cats, a husband and a feisty red-headed toddler in Brewster.

Lindsey Cloutier, DVM, CPDT-KA

Dr. Cloutier, originally from Western MA, joins the practice with a DVM from Ross University (2023) and clinical training at Ohio State. Her passion for animal behavior began while training psychiatric service dogs at UMass Amherst and continued through vet school, where she managed the behavioral needs of Caribbean dogs. She previously developed a behavior consultation program as a general practitioner and will now pursue board certification as a Veterinary Behaviorist at Massachusetts Veterinary Behavior. She shares her home with two rescue dogs and various invertebrates, and enjoys reading and collecting exotic plants.

Eileen Mulcahy

Eileen Mulcahy, DVM

Dr. Eileen Mulcahy graduated from Michigan State University in 1982 and soon after made New England her home. She owned and grew a busy veterinary practice in Leominster for over 30 years before settling on Cape Cod. After a “short” retirement, she joined Animal Hospital of Orleans part-time, where she enjoys practicing high-quality medicine alongside a caring team. A lifelong animal lover, Dr. Mulcahy still feels grateful every day for the gift of her profession.

Dr. Madden

Ashley Stancil, DVM
Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Stancil has been an Associate Veterinarian at the Animal Hospital of Orleans since July 2021. She received her BS in Biology from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and her DVM and MS in Entomology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is certified in acupuncture through The Chi Institute. Diabetes and Internal Medicine are her medical interests. She and her family have 2 dogs, 1 cat and 13 chickens. She enjoys cycling, surfing, sailing, skiing and music.

Renee

Renee Cole, CVT
Practice Manager

Renee has been with the Animal Hospital of Orleans since 1998. She graduated from Becker College’s Veterinary Technician program in 1995. Renee did her internship at The Roger Williams Park Zoo. She is currently working as both a Certified Veterinary Technician and Practice Manager. She lives in Harwich with her lab “Tucker” (adopted as a senior), 2 mini pigs “Melvin” and “Fern”, a Goffin’s cockatoo named “Zinnia”, and about 8 Koi! In her “spare” time she is an artist specializing in pyrography and woodcarving.

Jeremiah-Kidd

Jeremiah Kidd, CVT
Certified Veterinary Technician

Jeremiah joined our team in may of 2022. His veterinary career started in May of 2005, working at several animal general practices and surgical referral centers. Relocating to Cape Cod in December of 2016 from Virginia, Jeremiah and his family quickly settled in and set down roots. He achieved his Technician certification in December of 2020 with a long term goal of achieving certification as a Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) in General practice. His areas of interest include surgery, anesthesia, ultrasonography and client education. Jeremiah’s free-time is spent with his wife, daughter and newly adopted puppy Adi, a puggle/dachshund mix.

Sierra
Kennel Pet Care Technician

A native Cape Codder, Sierra joined our team in August 2024. Certified in Wildlife Rehabilitation & Rescue through the New England Wildlife Center in Weymouth, MA , she joined the staff at Wild Care in Eastham from 2018-2020. A lifelong animal lover that grew up on a farm led to her own pet sitting business, Claws & Tails Cape Cod, and a long list of furry friends including Dogs, Cats, Ferrets, a Horse, Bearded Dragon, Gecko and Tortoise. In her free time she can be found Fire Spinning, Boating, Fishing and riding her Horse.

Kristin Provost
Head Customer Care Representative

With over two decades of experience as a Veterinary Client Service Representative, Kristin has become a trusted and compassionate presence at the front desk of the clinic. Known for her warm demeanor, attention to detail, and deep understanding of both client and pet needs, she plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment. Her passion for animals and commitment to excellent client care make her an essential bridge between pet owners and the veterinary team. She is dedicated to continuous learning and regularly participates in continuing education courses to stay current with the best practices in veterinary care, client communication, and clinic operations.

When she’s not at the hospital, Kristin enjoys spending time with her family (human and furry!), baking, roller skating, crafting and gardening. She has three fluffy cats (Flapjack, Waffles and Oscar) and an adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Bowie.

Katie
Veterinary Technician

Katie grew up on the Cape and went to Nauset Regional Schools. She came to us in 2021 with previous experience as a veterinary reception/technician and has come a long way since. She started working with dogs a few years prior while volunteering on a farm at which she acquired her adorably crazy little terriers. She loves taking care of your pets, getting to know clients, and making her team members laugh. Katie says this career sort of fell into her lap in a way, and she couldn’t be more happy that it turned out this way.

Joanne has been a member of our healthcare team since 2012 as a pet care technician, She has been managing the kennel since June 2021. She comes to us with over a decade of pet care experience. She graduated from Nauset High School in 1990 and attended Cape Cod Community College. Joanne lives in Yarmouth with her 4 dogs and 2 cats. She enjoys reading, gardening, and sewing.

Veterinary Technician

Brigit joined our health care team in December of 2020. She loves Spicy Animals, Anesthesia, and is passionate about Oral Surgery & Dental Hygiene. She has two cats, “Special K” and “Pop Tart” and a dog named “River”. Her hobbies include hiking, skating and reading.

Diane has been with the Animal Hospital of Orleans since October 2000. She started as a kennel technician and is currently employed as a veterinary technician. Diane and her family have a coonhound named Ruckus and a few cats romping around the house.

Lillian MacLeod is a dedicated CSR with a passion for helping others. She joined our team back in March 2020. In her free time, Lillian enjoys outdoor activities with her two rescued Coonhounds, who are the center of her life. Whether it’s watching sunrises on the beach or a bike ride, she loves staying active with her pups.

Behavior Assistant

Corry joined our team in November of 2023. She works for Dr. Kirby-Madden at both the Animal Hospital of Orleans as well as at AHO’s sister practice, Massachusetts Veterinary Behavior. Corry earned her BS in Marine Biology with a minor in Photography and Digital Media from Roger Williams University. She has experience working with cetaceans, shellfish, and elasmobranchii (sharks, rays, and skates). She is originally from the Berkshires but loves living on Cape Cod! Her family has two Standard Poodles named Caper and Riley. Corry loves to read, digitally draw marine animals and places around the cape, and linocut printmaking.
